Do you guys like my necklace? i made it myself ....thank you, also the bracelet with the silver balls is actually a DIY alteration, it was a 2-teir long necklace that i purchased at a thrift store, the quality is great but i knew i'd wear it more if it was a bracelet so .....voila !! isn't it super cute and chic???? i love it, its my new obsession.

Ok so..... a couple of raves here, first of all how amazing is this blouse? I couldn't believe it when i saw it at H&M of all places (where i hardly ever shop anymore--their quality went down and prices went up) but anyway, this Amazon blouse was there, it kind of looks like a vintage scarf doesn't it? that's what i love about it, its super classy and so is the shape. Perfect for Spring, gosh i love it. I don't know why i don't have much green in my wardrobe??? it was my childhood favorite color. And then i paired this awesome necklace with it because the beads kind of look like leaves, what do ya think???

Secondly, how awesome are these shoes??? If i told you the price you'd keel over (its that low) ....Clearance deal at DSW near my house. Anyway, but aren't they just gorgeous???? Suede and Leather combo, a little high for my taste but beauty is pain right girls??....Don't tell anyone but i got em in black as well ;-) shhhhhhh........

Moral of the Story: when life hands you gorgeous designer sexy classy suede heels for $20.............. you don't say no. You buy 2

These were snapped right before i left for my bff''s wedding- Ruby. It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding. This is my most treasured (pricey) dress to date. I got it in 2005, years back and still is one of my classiest dresses. Actually it was a gift from my mom, we were shopping at Filene's Basement in Chicago and we saw the dress and fell in love with it. She insisted that she wanted to buy it for me. Thanks mom !!! good investment !!! i think i'll have this dress forever. Its one of those quality well-crafted pieces that you just never let go. .....Dont you just love the 20s silhouette ??

Ok, how awesome are these sexy strappy sandals? - Elie Tahari anyone? thank you Jewish Women's Council Thrift store !!! So if you live in the Los Angeles area you gotta check out the Jewish Women's Council Thrift stores, they have a few all over L.A. They can be a bit pricey at times for a thrift store but when they have their sale days, you can score amazing finds for great prices. Lots of Designer stuff !! Anyway i just had to show them to you, they are extremely well made and happen to fit me like a glove!
Ok the other two pics are just my old vanity display which i wanted to show you because its soon to be completely new and remade and awesome! i recently relocated for work and im planning a new decor for my bedroom and i can't wait to show you my plans....p.s. spray paint is involved.
And part of my necklace collection , most of which is vintage by the way..... god i love jewelry, don't know why?

I'm loving the fur-trimmed trend, and the fur-trend in general that's been going the past two winters. Its so chic !! and since its usually faux we don't have to feel guilty about it. So this sweater is actually from a few years back before the fur-trend got trendy, my mom gave it to me since it didn't fit her anymore, and i was loving it !!! This is my favorite new sweater purchase !! i haven't really bought any sweaters this winter because i already have a bunch after my years in Boston, but i've wanted a chunky knit like this ever since i lost mine from high school !! Yes people, i had a sweater like this in high school which i loved, and it was a gift from my second cousin. I'm not sure when i lost it exactly but after moving so many times in the past 10 years, i guess it got lost in the shuffle. So when i saw this i knew i had to have it !! its perfect for leggings and even boots and a skirt. In this outfit I paired it with three Vintage necklaces which i stacked up together to give this outfit a little glamour, since the sweater itself is very rustic. And thats also the reason i wore my favorite glittery loafers , to give it a little more bling. Aren't they super cute?
And of course i always need a pop of Red or Orange or Pink and that comes in with the red nail-polish and lipstick

V-day Number 2: The Red Suit

I've been meaning to do a post on this outfit for a long time, i actually wore this outfit out a couple of times and people were like "whoa!" but after a the initial shock i got a lot of compliments on it. I love this outfit so much although this is the first time i belted the Blazer. I love monochromatic outfits, as i'm sure you can tell if you've been following my blog, and Red is a favorite of mine. I also have a fetish for red shoes, i don't know what it is my i can't get enough!! These beauties are vintage Bruno Magli in red satin !! how awesome are they? and the heel isn't that high so they are relatively comfortable. What's great is they match my red satin pants perfectly. Another favorite of mine is my mom's lucite tortoise clutch which she gave to me, its a favorite of mine. I absolutely love it !! I don't wear it nearly enough, mostly because i save it for special occasions and also because it doesn't fit much stuff inside, but i think its so unique and chic and beautiful.

And one last comment: how awesome is my "LOVE" ring? its a vintage model based on the famous "LOVE" statue which exists in a few american cities, one of which is my beloved Philladelphia !!! I lived in Philly for 3 months while in school and absolutely loved it. When i saw this vintage ring i jumped for joy as its super cute and because its my ode to"the city of brotherly love".

Another sister DIY Denim project
